All items are made whilst teaching both young people and Veterans woodworking techniques to promote local employability within the trade.

All exotic woods used are sustainably sourced based on verified chains of custody and forest certifications.  All our wood finishes are also food grade and enviromently friendly. 

We also put to good use all the byproducts such as offcuts by giving them away as kindling to famillies in need, as well as the sawdust which is used as pet bedding. 

Due to the nature of the sale, any custom, engraving or personalized order is non-refundable once paid for. 

Return & Replacement Procedures

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your items(s) have been damaged during shipping, are defective or there are missing or incorrect items, you must notify us immediately within 7 days of receiving the item(s) so that we may send a replacement. If we are not notified within 7 days, we reserve the right to refuse any damage or missing item claims after this period, as it becomes much harder for us to process shipping claims with the delay. 

Please email us at help@cuttingboard.com with your order number and a description of the problem. If your items are damaged, please include photographs if possible to assist us. We will then issue a RMA number and a return shipping label for you to send back your order. Upon receiving the return, we will send out a replacement product for you. 

We are unable to process replacements without an RMA first. Again, please notify us as soon as possible, as our window for filing an insurance claim is limited to 10 days. If we are notified of damaged or missing goods after 7 days, we will be unable to refund or replace your items.

Note: Defective or damaged items are not returnable for a refund and will only be replaced. We have this policy in place to avoid customers purposely damaging products to avoid paying return shipping fees for unwanted items. 

We try to keep delivery charges as low as possible whilst still keeping a good quality courier service. Parcelforce delivers our boards which means that you get quick and reliable delivery to your door. You will also receive an email on the day of dispatch and some interactive text messaging allowing you to do clever stuff like redirect a parcel and choose a different delivery day. Handy if you are not going to be at home

We aim to deliver your order dispatch within in 2 – 5 days and your parcel may require a signature. Up to date dispatch times can be found in the banner at the top of each page. If you have ordered a fully customised item then the specifc time to dispatch will be shown on the product page.

All deliveries are Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays. Please allow an extra 24hrs if you have asked for custom engraving. Your parcel will arrive in recycled and fully recyclable packaging, and we’d appreciate it if you would dispose of it appropriately.
