COVID-19

During these unprecedented times, the COVID-19 pandemic is having a profound effect on the lives of billions of people around the world.  The threat of the disease and increasing casualties are destabilising our communities. The imposed restrictions to our daily routines have forced us to quickly adopt different ways to support and connect with one another.

Whilst this crisis has brought unprecedented challenges for all, we feel humbled by the inspiring stories of individuals, groups and businesses.  As a charity we also had to innovate and adapt so that we can better serve our community.  Over the past two years we have delivered food parcels to referenced and identified vulnerable families.  As the need increased exponentially, we have been collaborating with local authorities  and other local groups and with the help of our fantastic volunteers, we have distributed many tons of free food parcels to families and individuals with health and financial needs.  We will continue to work hard to meet the demand during this difficult period,  so if you require assistance or know anyone in a vulnerable situation, do not hesitate to get in touch with us either by email or telephone at any time, and we will do our best to assist and adapt to the community needs.  Meanwhile, use the technology you have at your disposal to communicate with friends and family, wash your hands, self-isolate and stay safe until we meet again.
